Job Purpose
To provide specialized technical support and development expertise for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, ensuring the system's efficient operation, customization, and enhancement. This role involves troubleshooting issues, implementing new features, and collaborating with stakeholders to optimize business processes and deliver robust solutions that align with organizational goals.
ACCOUNTIBILITIES
· Take ownership of technical support and development within Dynamics 365 F&O, including advanced customization using X++, performance optimization, and issue resolution.
· Provide technical support and maintenance for additional in-house or third-party applications as assigned.
· Design and implement custom features and integrations using .NET (C#), REST APIs, and SQL Server.
· Participate in the development of IT projects beyond ERP when needed, including internal tools, automation scripts, or enhancements to other business applications.
· Troubleshoot and resolve application errors, performance issues, and functional bugs.
· Ensure thorough documentation of technical changes, fixes, and solution designs.
· Perform database-related tasks including writing and optimizing queries, managing stored procedures, and performing data migrations.
· Manage backup and restore operations for key databases and applications to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
· Monitor and maintain system performance, applying best practices in database tuning, indexing, and capacity planning.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams and business stakeholders to align technical efforts with operational needs.
· Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior support engineers
Position Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
· Minimum 3 years of experience(3-5) with Dynamics 365 F&O (or Dynamics AX), including hands-on development in X++.
· Strong proficiency in .NET (C#), SQL Server, and technical integrations.
· Solid experience in supporting enterprise applications beyond ERP (e.g., custom internal systems, business productivity tools).
· Demonstrated expertise in database administration tasks such as performance tuning, backup & restore, and query optimization.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.
· Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
· knowledge of Agile methodologies
· ITIL certification or working knowledge of IT service management is preferred.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and departments.
