Job Purpose

ACCOUNTIBILITIES

Project Planning & Execution 
Lead end-to-end project management across multiple ICT initiatives, including systems implementations, upgrades, and integrations. 
Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with stakeholders
Develop detailed project plans and ensure consistent tracking against milestones, risks, and dependencies. 
Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to ensure timely delivery and quality of project outputs. 

___Governance & Compliance Alignment 
Ensure all projects comply with ICT governance policies, standards, and procedures defined by the ICT Governance Manager. 
Maintain alignment with project management methodologies such as PMI, PRINCE2, or Agile, as applicable. 
Ensure risk assessments, change controls, and project documentation meet governance and audit requirements. 
Contribute to the continuous improvement of project governance processes and templates. 
__Stakeholder & Communication Management

Serve as the primary contact for project communication, ensuring transparency and timely updates to stakeholders. Collaborate with business unit leads to clarify requirements, priorities, and expected outcomes. 
Manage vendor and third-party coordination for outsourced or co-managed projects.
Facilitate steering committee meetings, progress reviews, and project closure sessions.

___Financial & Resource Management
Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and alignment with financial guidelines. 
Track expenditures and forecast resource needs throughout the project lifecycle. 
Ensure procurement and vendor management processes comply with ICT and corporate governance policies. 

___Risk & Quality Management 
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues proactively. 
Ensure deliverables meet quality and performance standards before handover.
Coordinate with testing and QA teams to validate deliverables and manage user acceptance testing (UAT).

___Reporting & Documentation

Prepare project dashboards, performance reports, and post-implementation reviews for ICT governance reporting.
Maintain comprehensive documentation covering scope, risk registers, decisions, and lessons learned. 
Support internal and external audit reviews by providing accurate project records and evidence of compliance. 

 

Development of Employee’s Performance

Intermediate Stage (Experienced Project Manager) 
Lead large or cross-functional ICT projects with minimal oversight. 
Contribute to refining project governance frameworks and mentoring junior project coordinators.
Strengthen financial and risk management competencies. Advanced Stage (Senior / Strategic Leadership)
Oversee a portfolio of ICT projects, ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy. 
 Drive continuous improvement in project management practices and governance Integration.
Influence ICT investment decisions through strategic portfolio management.
