Job Purpose
To supervise and manage the day-to-day personnel operations across three core functions: medical insurance administration, social insurance and governmental compliance, and time and attendance management. The Personnel Supervisor ensures operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and accurate employee records while supporting the People & Culture Executive Director in executing the organization's HR strategy.
ACCOUNTIBILITIES
Medical Insurance Administration
• Manage and administer the company's employee medical insurance program
• Serve as the primary point of contact between the organization and the medical insurance provider
• Handle employee enrollment, renewals, cancellations, and claims follow-up
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date employee medical insurance records
• Address and resolve employee queries related to medical insurance coverage
Social Insurance & Governmental Compliance
• Oversee all social insurance transactions and registrations in accordance with Egyptian labor law
• Prepare and submit periodic governmental reports to the Egyptian Social Insurance Office
• Ensure full compliance with Egyptian Social Insurance Law and applicable labor regulations
• Maintain accurate employee social insurance records and documentation
• Monitor legislative updates and ensure the organization adapts accordingly
Time & Attendance Management
• Supervise the daily time and attendance tracking process for all employees
• Ensure accurate recording of attendance, leaves, overtime, and absences
• Generate regular attendance reports for People & Culture and departmental management
• Identify and escalate attendance irregularities or policy violations
• Coordinate with payroll to ensure attendance data is accurately reflected
Team Supervision & Development
• Directly supervise a team of three personnel covering the above functions
• Set clear objectives, monitor performance, and conduct regular evaluations
• Provide coaching, guidance, and on-the-job development to team members
• Ensure proper workflow distribution and coverage across the team
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law, Human Resources, or a related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in a personnel or HR operations role
- Hands-on experience with the Egyptian Social Insurance system is essential
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian Labor Law and Social Insurance Law
- Experience in medical insurance administration is a must
- Proficiency in HR systems and time & attendance software
- Working knowledge of English is an advantage
