Job Purpose

An ICT Governance Manager is responsible for ensuring that the organization's IT systems and processes are in compliance with regulatory requirements and that the systems are functioning as per the organizational policy. This role primarily focuses on risk management, data privacy, and information security.

ACCOUNTIBILITIES

• Developing, implementing, communicating & continuously improving the organization's ICT governance strategy and policy to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Conducting risk assessments to identify potential risks and implementing controls to mitigate ICT system risks.
• Ensuring the continuity and availability of ICT systems to support business continuity plans and activities.
• Acting as the liaison between the ICT department and executive management to ensure the ICT strategy is aligned with the business strategy.
• Developing and sustaining strong relationships with regulatory bodies & auditors, to ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Lead internal compliance and coordinate audits and testing activities required to support compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Providing recommendations and guidance based on risk assessments to stakeholders to ensure they are making informed decisions.
• Follow up ICT Analytical Reports to CGC Departments
• Maintain ICT SLAs
• Monitor and update the ICT service catalogue
• Follow up processes’ KPIs.
 

Position Requirements

Educational Requirements: 
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science or a related field.
Special Certification or Training Required: MBA (preferable), Must be certified in one or multiple IT governance methodologies, such as COBIT (is a must), ITIL (is a must), and risk management frameworks such as ISO, NIST, or COSO ERM (Knowledge a must and certification preferable).

Required Industry Experience: 
At least 12 years of experience in information technology or information security roles with experience in designing, implementing, and managing IT governance programs.

Technological Requirements: 
Good understanding of financial & credit industry regulations and standards

Language Requirements: 
Arabic – English (Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.)

Comfortable working in a fast-paced and continuously changing environment.
