Job Purpose

Responsible for overseeing all aspects of facility operations within a financial services company. This role ensures that all facilities are maintained in optimal condition, aligned with the company's strategic goals, and compliant with industry regulations. The role involves strategic planning, budgeting, vendor management, and coordination with internal stakeholders to provide a safe, efficient, and productive work environment.
 

ACCOUNTIBILITIES

•Oversee daily facility operations including maintenance, repairs, and overall management of CGC buildings systems and property operations (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) and  Follow-up on preventive maintenance works schedules as plan.
•Ensure facilities are compliant with all safety, health, and environmental regulations.
•Manage and optimize space utilization to meet the evolving needs of the company.
•Develop and manage the annual facilities budget ( OPEX & CAPEX), including forecasting and cost control.
•Monitor expenditure and implement cost-saving measures while maintaining high service standards.
•Develop and implement long-term facility management strategies to support the company’s goals.
•Plan and oversee facility upgrades, renovations, and new facilities initiatives and projects.
•Conduct facility assessments to identify and address areas for improvement.
•Identify, select, and manage relationships with external vendors and contractors.
•Ensure services are delivered as per contract agreements and performance standards according to standard SLA.
•Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate service agreements to optimize value.
•Follow-up on managed service company works in the assigned buildings.
•Close monitoring on the work performance in the assigned buildings.
•Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure all requirements are considered
•Prepare the needed executive summary & Business Cases for the needed works on premises.
•Review existing building designs for any proposed enhancements\changes to ensure do ability.
•Select the efficient type of furniture, equipment & durable materials used & proper vendor selection.
•Coordinate with procurement and Finance till awarding the works to vendors.
•Supervise construction contractors\vendors during implementation phase with a proper handing over.
•Asset Management and all related activities Warehouse (property side) planning, management, and stock level control.
•Prepare Liaising contracts and utilities contracts with the local authorities (where appropriate to the project) to ensure compliance with local construction regulations and by-laws.
•Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and the work of any subcontractors.
•Overseeing quality control and health and safety matters on site.
•Preparing all administration and facility management related reports as required.
•Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
•Liaising with any subcontractors for payment issues (payment extract)
•Go-Green portfolio management according to sustainability standards and environment friendly operations and processes. 
•Ensure compliance with all relevant local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
•Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
•Conduct regular safety inspections and audits across all buildings, Comply with all local and international HSE codes and standards.

Position Requirements

Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or any related field 
Special Certification or Training Required: FMP, CFM additional (PMP or project management degree is a plus) (OSHA or NEBOSH is a plus)
Required Industry Experience: 8+ at the same field.
Technological Requirements: SAP system, AutoCAD, Excellent Excel.
