Enterprise Architect

Job Purpose

CGC Egypt is looking for an Enterprise Architect to join its team in Cairo.

The EA will play a key role in the organization by:

• • Linking the business mission, strategy, and processes of an organization to its ICT strategy
  • Building architectural models that show how the current and future needs of CGC Egypt will be met in an efficient, sustainable, and agile way.

ACCOUNTIBILITIES

• • Define and maintain the technical capabilities & applications map coordinating with other relevant roles (including CIO, business relations manager, etc…) to reflect relevant inputs from business, strategy…
  • Define the target architecture blueprint, the architecture strategy to reach this target and the intermediate.
  • Derive the architecture vision on strategic or company-wide topics and programs.
  • Define and maintain enterprise-level architecture principles and contribute to a "Design Authority" checklist.
  • Provide insights to the organization from technology and market trends on architecture-related topics.
  • Help structure the role of system engineers (e.g., through guidelines, reference maps, and methodologies)
  • Liaise with developers and Ops engineers within the ICT organization to ensure broad alignment with enterprise architecture.
  • Provide business architecture and systems processing guidance.
  • Ensure awareness of enterprise architecture choices within the ICT organization including by organizing trainings, workshops…
  • Create methods for compliance architecture, such as data storage, metadata management, and change control.
  • Determine and implement build versus buy strategies, mentor personnel, and view the overall business strategy.
  • Ensure systematic integration of capabilities & tools needed to anticipate & manage ICT risks within the enterprise architecture deliverables and coordinate with relevant stakeholders within the ICT organization (ex. Ops & tech support director, App development & support director…) to ensure full alignment between architecture Execution.
  • Define the application development stack in coordination with App development & support team.

Position Requirements

Required skills & experience

• • A minimum of 12 years total experience, 7+ years of relevant experience (Architect roles)

Knowledge of TOGAF is a must (Certification is a plus)
