Compliance Officer

Job Purpose

Support the Compliance Director in implementing and maintaining an effective compliance framework to ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, Central Bank of Egypt (CBE) requirements, and internal policies and conducting annual monitoring plan.

ACCOUNTIBILITIES

• Assist in the implementation of the Compliance Charter, policies, and procedures.
• Perform compliance monitoring activities in accordance with the approved compliance monitoring plan.
• Support risk-based compliance reviews across business and support functions.
• Track regulatory observations, internal findings, and corrective action plans.
• Follow up on overdue compliance actions and prepare status reports.
• Assist in regulatory correspondence and information requests.
• Support compliance advisory activities for business initiatives and new products.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for compliance activities.
• Support Compliance Director in corporate governance activities.

Position Requirements

Educational Requirements: Bachelor of bachelor’s degree in law, Business Administration or related field.
Special Certification or Training Required: Compliance, risk management, or regulatory compliance training is an advantage.
Required Industry Experience: 2–4 years in compliance, risk, audit, or financial services.
Technological Requirements: MS Office, compliance tracking tools, basic understanding of core systems.
Language Requirements: Arabic - English
